Yes, of course you can safely remove the filter from the faucet and switch it to another! The thread quality allows this several times: when moving, going on vacation, etc.

You can take your Tappwater filter with you on trips—even use it in your hotel!

It's very simple to learn how to order the right adapter that perfectly fits your faucet aerator. Take one of these coins and place it exactly over the aerator head. You'll see the equivalent between the coin and the adapter size you need.

According to hundreds of studies worldwide, tap water compliant with WHO drinking water standards (USA and EU countries) is at least as healthy as bottled water. Moreover, unlike bottled water costing over 20 cents per liter, tap water costs less than 0.16 cents per liter (per OCU), making it 200x more expensive (or more, depending on brand).

EcoPro and EcoPro Compact use 5-stage nanofiltration technology. Activated carbon is part of it, along with other patented technologies. You'll get better filtration than other filters. It's also the only faucet filter that reduces limescale.

Hot water use is not recommended. Cartridge cover materials aren't heat-resistant and may cause melting. For hot water, use the unfiltered setting by turning the lever.

Our faucet water filters fit 95% of round threaded faucets. The filter simply screws onto external threads with standard connector or included adapter for internal threads.

Calcium is a mineral not considered a contaminant and has known health benefits. Many still ask how limescale removal/reduction works. Simple definition: Water hardness is the amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium. Hard water has high dissolved minerals. When heated (e.g., in a home boiler), solid calcium carbonate deposits form.

Basically, two methods to prevent limescale:

A) Remove calcium and magnesium ions to prevent calcium/magnesium carbonates (most water softeners/jugs). E.g., ion-exchange resins swap calcium for sodium ions, making water salty and discharging calcium/magnesium in wastewater.

B) TAPPWater Method
Our patented anti-limescale agent complexes with inorganic contaminants to prevent hard scale, stains, etc. Creates a protective layer of insoluble mineral lime on coffee pots, kettles, water jugs, etc. Positive: Calcium/magnesium aren't wasted, no salty taste. Note: White particles/bubbles may appear from calcium/magnesium ions.

Our filters remove bad taste, odor, chlorine, microplastics, and 100+ other contaminants while retaining essential minerals like calcium, potassium, and magnesium.

Our quality parameters for filtering substances/contaminants exceed 95% in most cases (higher for some, like 99% chlorine, depending on contaminant type).
