Can I remove the filter from the faucet and install it on another one?

Yes, of course you can safely remove the filter from the faucet and switch it to another! The thread quality allows this several times: when moving, going on vacation, etc.

You can take your Tappwater filter with you on trips—even use it in your hotel!

How do I measure for the correct adapter?

It's very simple to learn how to order the right adapter that perfectly fits your faucet aerator. Take one of these coins and place it exactly over the aerator head. You'll see the equivalent between the coin and the adapter size you need.

How does tap water compare to bottled water and other filters?

According to hundreds of studies worldwide, tap water compliant with WHO drinking water standards (USA and EU countries) is at least as healthy as bottled water. Moreover, unlike bottled water costing over 20 cents per liter, tap water costs less than 0.16 cents per liter (per OCU), making it 200x more expensive (or more, depending on brand).

Tap water is an unlimited source whenever you need it—no buying, carrying, or throwing away plastic bottles. Blind tests show 9 out of 10 people can't taste the difference between filtered and bottled water. Ecologically, plastic waste destroys our oceans and ecosystems. Less than 10% of global plastic is recycled; the rest goes to landfills and the environment.

Which part of the filter removes fluoride?

EcoPro and EcoPro Compact use 5-stage nanofiltration technology. Activated carbon is part of it, along with other patented technologies. You'll get better filtration than other filters. It's also the only faucet filter that reduces limescale.

Can I filter hot or cold water with the filter?

Hot water use is not recommended. Cartridge cover materials aren't heat-resistant and may cause melting. For hot water, use the unfiltered setting by turning the lever.

Differences Between EcoPro and EcoPro Compact

Both EcoPro and EcoPro Compact use ultra-advanced 5-stage microfiltration technology with activated carbon in their refills. Coconut shell activated carbon block absorbs chemicals, gases, metals, and organics via its microscopic, highly porous structure. EcoPro

EcoPro

  • Dimensions: 12.4 x 7.4 x 10.9 cm. Weight: ~363g.
  • Filtration Speed: 4L/min or 15 seconds per liter.
  • Refill Lifespan: 3 months from first use.
  • Filtration Capacity: Up to 1,200L over 3 months (~13L/day).
  • Carbon Block Density: 1-2 µm.
  • Filtered Substances: +100.

EcoPro replacement filters change every 3 months.

EcoPro Compact

EcoPro Compact is the new, smaller, compact redesigned model with white or chrome color options—filtration quality and materials remain the same in both.

  • Filtration Speed: 4L/min or 15 seconds per liter.
  • Single Refill Capacity: ~220-300L/month (8L/day).
  • Carbon Block Density: 1-2 µm.
  • Removed Items: +100.

EcoPro Compact replacements change every 2 months.

What if I'm unsure if the filter fits my faucet?

Our faucet water filters fit 95% of round threaded faucets. The filter simply screws onto external threads with standard connector or included adapter for internal threads.

Compatible faucet types 1-4: [Note: Original lists images/models 1-4 as compatible

But these models may not be compatible 5-9:

5. Internal threads—may fit in some cases (ask us).

6. Oval faucets—not compatible.

7. Pull-out/tub faucets—not compatible.

8. Touchless/small touch—not compatible.

9. Internal thread (common on IKEA faucets)—may fit with extra adapter (ask us).

If still unsure about compatibility, send a photo of your faucet to info@mojowater.eu

Does the filter remove limescale/calcium?

All our cartridges filter limescale.

Calcium is a mineral not considered a contaminant and has known health benefits. Many still ask how limescale removal/reduction works. Simple definition: Water hardness is the amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium. Hard water has high dissolved minerals. When heated (e.g., in a home boiler), solid calcium carbonate deposits form.

Basically, two methods to prevent limescale:

A) Remove calcium and magnesium ions to prevent calcium/magnesium carbonates (most water softeners/jugs). E.g., ion-exchange resins swap calcium for sodium ions, making water salty and discharging calcium/magnesium in wastewater.

B) TAPPWater Method
Our patented anti-limescale agent complexes with inorganic contaminants to prevent hard scale, stains, etc. Creates a protective layer of insoluble mineral lime on coffee pots, kettles, water jugs, etc. Positive: Calcium/magnesium aren't wasted, no salty taste. Note: White particles/bubbles may appear from calcium/magnesium ions.

Does it remove bad water taste?

Our filters remove bad taste, odor, chlorine, microplastics, and 100+ other contaminants while retaining essential minerals like calcium, potassium, and magnesium.

Our quality parameters for filtering substances/contaminants exceed 95% in most cases (higher for some, like 99% chlorine, depending on contaminant type).
